If your child must miss school, please call the school office on the day of his or her absence before 8:00 a.m. For information about attendance requirements and what qualifies as an excused absence, please refer to our student handbook.
If your child needs to take any medications during the school day, a parent or guardian must submit a physician’s order to the school nurse at the beginning of each school year. An adult must bring the medication to school; students may not transport their medication to school. The medication must be in its original, labeled container.
We operate an excellent nutrition program at our school. Our cafeteria serves breakfast and lunch every school day for a reasonable price. We also participate in the federal free and reduced price lunch program for those who qualify. For more information or to apply for free/reduced meals, please see our district Food Services page.
We are pleased to provide our students with safe, reliable transportation to and from school each day. We consider bus riding a privilege and expect all students to adhere to the rules for their own safety as well as for the safety of others. A parent or guardian must send a note to the main office and at the time of dismissal must sign out and pick up students at the front office.
We strongly encourage your involvement. Please take the time to introduce yourself to your child’s teacher and let him or her know that you’re interested in getting involved.
