Our School

Francis S. Grandinetti Elementary is staffed with highly qualified faculty and dedicated staff members who are fully invested in the success of every student. Whether they’re engaging the students in thought-provoking discussions, hands-on projects, small-group mentoring, or other interesting activities and academic opportunities, our teachers and aides give 100% in everything they do.

We Are Elker PROUD

At FSG Elementary School, we foster a feeling of school pride through our school-wide effective behavior program, titled “We are Elker PROUD.” During the school year, students learn the rules of good behavior and the behavioral expectations we have as a school community. In addition to building sound academic skills, we realize that we must also provide an atmosphere in which students can grow in character, self-concept, self-image, self-respect, self-worth, and self-esteem.

We designed the PROUD Program to help our students grow into successful adults. The administration, faculty, and staff at FSG believe our school-wide PROUD rules will help establish a positive atmosphere in which students can feel positive school and personal pride by demonstrating good behavior.

We strongly encourage parents to reinforce the concepts taught in the classroom by talking with your children about feeling PROUD and following the PROUD concepts at home.
